A key technical innovation makes it possible: Bidirectional radio.
The benefits for users:

1. Reliable radio signal transmission
One benefit of bidirectional radio is the routing function: The fact that the radio signal automatically searches for an alternative route if the direct connection is disrupted. As the "ProLine 2" transmitter simultaneously transmits to several receivers the signal has several possibilities to reach the end device.
2. Direct feedback
The hand-held transmitters MonoTel 2, LumeroTel 2, VarioTel 2, TempoTel 2 and MultiTel 2 get feedback from the receiver on the receipt of the message transmitted to it. If in the event of a malfunction of the receiver there is no successful transmission despite the automatic resending of the signal, the status LED lights up red.
Other benefits of bidirectional radio technology:
- Use of the licence-free 868 MHz band
- No interference with DECT, WLAN and PMR systems
- Low radio exposure (max. 10mW) due to a few short radio transmissions
